Three tiers reflecting material engagement and forge mastery

Tier I

Foundation Series

Regular Availability

The Foundation Series represents the core of the work—honest forging, reliable performance, and knives meant to be used often. Heat treatment is optimized for durability, edge stability, and ease of maintenance.

Carbon Mono-Steel Low-Layer Damascus (1084/15N20)
Tier II

Signature Series

Semi-Regular to Limited

Where material challenges are met intentionally. Hamon activity, boundary structures, and forged patterning are evidence of process—not applied decoration. These knives balance performance with expressive structure and are produced in smaller numbers.

W2 Monosteel Shirogami Stainless San-Mai Go-Mai (Copper) High-Layer Damascus
Tier III

Origin Series

Extremely Rare

Steel smelted from raw iron sources in a charcoal furnace, refined and forged entirely by hand. The bloom produced must be consolidated, sorted, and repeatedly forged before it becomes usable material. Each blade is singular.

Oroshigane (Handmade Bloom Steel)
“Origin Series knives represent the foundation of bladesmithing itself—transforming raw material into steel, and steel into tool. These are functional artifacts meant to endure.”

Origin Series blades are made in extremely small numbers and are available by inquiry only. Working this steel sharpens understanding of heat, carbon movement, and structural transformation—informing every other process in the shop.
